FAQs

What is a Mix & Match leash?

A Mix & Match leash consists of a separate lower part and a hand loop that you can connect/disconnect with just one click. This system allows you to swap out the individual parts of your leash and combine them as you like - depending on the weather, occasion, or outfit.

What is a lower part?

A lower part is a single component for a Mix & Match leash and can only be used with a corresponding hand loop; otherwise, it cannot be used as a standalone leash. It is 60cm long and, when combined with a hand loop of also 60cm length, creates a leash of approximately 1.20m length. The advantage of this system: You can combine and swap the lower parts with your hand loop as you like, allowing you to change the look of your leash every day.

What is a hand loop?

A hand loop is a single component for a Mix & Match leash and is best used with a corresponding lower part. It is 60cm long and, when combined with a lower part of also 60cm length, creates a leash of approximately 1.20m length. The advantage of this system: You can combine and swap the hand loop with your lower parts as you like, allowing you to change the look of your leash every day.

Additionally, the hand loop can also be used as a short lead, which is very practical, for example, when leashing in a restaurant.

What is an adjustable hand loop?

An adjustable hand loop is a single piece for a Mix & Match leash and is best used with a corresponding lower part. It is 1.70m long and, in combination with a lower part of 60cm length, creates a leash of approximately 2.30m length. This way, you can even wear your Mix & Match leash around you and have your hands free while walking.

The advantage of this system: You can freely combine and exchange the adjustable hand loop with your lower parts, allowing you to change the look of your leash every day.

Additionally, the adjustable hand loop can of course also be used as a standalone leash.

What is the difference between an adjustable hand loop and a 2-way adjustable shoulder leash?

The difference between an adjustable hand loop and a 2-way adjustable shoulder leash lies only in the length: While the adjustable hand loop is only 1.70m long, allowing it to be combined with a lower part, the 2-way adjustable shoulder leash is 2.50m long and can also be worn cross-body without the need for an additional lower part.

Another difference is that the adjustable hand loop has only one ring, while the 2-way adjustable shoulder leash (as the name suggests) has two rings for adjustment.

What is the difference between a Mix & Match leash, a Mix & Match set, and a Mix & Match bundle?

The difference between these three variants lies in the number of individual items you receive:

Mix & Match Leash: Only one leash consisting of

  • lower part
  • hand loop

Mix & Match Set: A complete set consisting of

  • lower part
  • hand loop
  • collar

Mix & Match Bundle: A set with the option to mix & match, consisting of

  • 2x lower part
  • hand loop
  • collar

What is a coupling leash?

A coupling leash is a leash that is particularly suitable for walking two dogs on one leash.

What is the difference between a coupling leash and a Mix & Match leash?

A coupling leash is constructed a bit differently than a Mix & Match leash, as it ends in a swivel instead of a carabiner. It cannot be used as a standalone hand loop/short lead.

Additionally, the lower parts of a coupling leash end on both sides with a carabiner. These small differences prevent tangling when two dogs are walking on the leash. Nevertheless, the leash can also be used with just one lower part for only one dog and can be expanded with other lower parts/hand loops.

Wie messe ich den Halsumfang richtig?

When it comes to our custom-made collars, it's important that you measure your dog's neck circumference correctly. You have two options:

Take a measuring tape and measure your dog's neck circumference directly around their neck, leaving 1-2 fingers of space. This is how the collar should ideally fit.

Alternatively, you can also use a collar that your dog is currently wearing as a reference. Fasten it and measure the circumference from the inside with a measuring tape (NOT the length of the collar!). Thank you :-)
